I also thought it was a funny mix of Swedish and southern but I wasn't sure if that was his usual voice or something special for the camera. Very charming!

I think the accent is emphasized here because he's got his "management" voice on. Most of the time, people really can't tell that he's not local. He does have a southern/swedish thing going on, in general... but you guys are (almost) the only ones who can identify it as Swedish. :)

He is very, very silly. It occurs to me that southern American English has a bit of sing-songyness to it. It's a natural fit! ;)
