He does sound like an American.. mostly. People here might guess that he's not from this state but they tend to guess other states. I think it's easier for us to hear the Swedish part since we know what to look for. However, I think there is a bit of a sing-songyness to the southern accent. I hadn't thought about it before now, but it makes it a strangely natural fit. Also, he does sound like that mostly, but it's laid on a bit thicker than usual because he's doing the 'management' voice and tone. Interesting..
