same_skyI thought I had a whole lot of things to write about, but it turns out that.. no. I don't. Mostly, I've been watching the baby or working on the new computers, and that does not for exciting posts make.
Miss Baby and I had a little outing today. She was all shrieky this morning and I told her that if she would NAP then when she woke up, I would take her somewhere. Now that she's on one nap a day, it's theoretically not bad to take her out during the day. It was pretty complicated with her schedule before, unless I wanted to be out alone with a cranky baby. I prefer to wait until afternoon, though, since they are so much longer than the mornings and I run out of patience. So anyway, we went to the bank, to the other bank (to pay my electric bill, which was due yesterday but I just realized that either I didn't get a bill this month or if I did, we lost it while cleaning up the house for the party last weekend), to get my engagement/wedding ring checked and to the grocery store. Not too shabby!
While at the grocery store, I picked up strawberries and ice cream, and after E fell asleep, I fixed us both a bowl of ice cream with strawberries in it as a little surprise dessert for the boy. He is not a fan of sweet stuff, for the most part, but ice cream is always an exception. He is a proper Swede that way. Also, berries, so it was a super winner. He is so easy to please, that boy. He doesn't know it yet but I have another little food surprise planned for him sometime soon.
Keepin' it exciting even after all these years.... whee!
