Ugh, the throwing up illness is, without question, the worst part of parenting so far in my life. And unfortunately I have way more experience with it than I would like.
My kids were still nursing at Evelyn's age but not really in the daytime so I'd probably have tried to get away with a nursing mom excuse but then they'd see I'm working and kind of think, hmmm.
I was just thinking about E still getting so much of her sustenance from breastmilk and yet, she's the same weight as my 3 year old. And there's Reebert's little 5 month old who only needs one more month to catch up to Anders's weight. And georgiamars! Violet, at 18 months, weighs 5 pounds MORE than Anders! What are you guys eating that makes your breastmilk pack the pounds on your kids?!? I swear, my breastmilk must have been skim. From what I can see, it didn't have much in the way of nutritional value or immunity boosting properties. Skinny sick kids. That's what my eighteen months of breastfeeding (per kid) got me.
