same_skyLunch was really nice. If very late.. I wish we could have gone at a normal time because it very much messed up my eating schedule, and now my poor hubby is going to suffer for it. How can I start cooking dinner when I'm actively full from lunch?! ;) Anyway, we talked about the fact that we should hang out more and be close again. We'll see how that goes. Apparently, her ex-husband now has a porn website/webcam. I thought it was very unfair of her to give me that mental picture while I was eating. *shudder* I made a cursory attempt at locating it for her, but failed. I didn't figure he'd use his real full name, anyway. ;)
I've been getting a few things done today. For one thing, I'm working on laundry. Unfortunately, I pulled a sweater out of the dryer and noticed that there was a pile of yarn leftover. I inspected the sweater and it's now actually split up one entire side, from hem to underarm. Crap. I have very few shirts as it is! And actually, this one wasn't mine, it was Mom's. I was just borrowing it for an extended period of time! It's possibly fixable but I'm not so great with mending. I did our banking and applied for a job which I would very much like to get. I even did a few dishes. Duktig flicka. ;)
And today's happy thought.. I actually have the air conditioning on. :) Maybe spring really will come eventually. Of course, it's not actually all that warm, but we live in an oven, so it gets stuffy. ;)
