I love my days off.

My day off seems to be a little shorter than planned--I had to work this morning! But now I'm home and done with lunch and everything and have the rest of the day to myself, so I guess it'll be okay. And I did get to sleep for an extra hour.. which was excellent. I woke up at 7 when Magnus left with a headache and sore all over from the way I was laying. I took some ibuprofin and was feeling better when Dad called at 8. I couldn't feel as sorry for myself as I wanted to, though, since it wasn't really dad's fault and there was a good (bad) reason for it, at least. My grandfather was headed to the ER again (feeling smothery all night) and Dad needed someone to stay at the store while he did his deliveries. He's been released, though, and is doing fine. He has an appointment tomorrow in Lexington, so no news really right now except relatively good news. Anyway. On the bright side, I missed my chiro visit, which I whined about last night. And they'll be out of town next week. So, yay. :)

I had such strange dreams last night. LJ dreams, even. I was at a wedding.. I have no idea whose wedding it was, but carrieb was there, with a bunch of her online-type friends.. and there was a blonde guy named Anthony who was irritating the crap out of me. Poking me in the back repeatedly and making obnoxious comments. I was trying to be nice to him because he obviously was a friend of a friend, but my patience was running very very low. Meanwhile, I found out that denyeverything had decided not to move into her apartment and had decided to just move in with Ryan instead. I thought that was more than a little unexpected and rather on the sudden side, but she seemed to think it was the perfectly natural thing to do. *laugh* Oh, and I was a nurse. No clue where I came up with all of that.

And for the scrapbookers (or well, anyone who has a need for this kind of thing) with access to Photoshop 7.. you can make a photo of a layout look flat extremely easily. Tutorial here. I've had so much fun playing with this.. just occured to me that some of you might like to use it. :)

I'm off to throw some clothes in the washer and do a tiny bit of housework. Can't properly enjoy my day off with the house looking like it does.. but I don't forsee a massive amount of cleaning, either. ;) My feet hurt too much for that. Will try to do LJ comments later this afternoon and get a little caught up. And send an email or two. And I need to find a picture to take for the Curves theme. Troublesome.
