I've felt rather like microwaved crapola today. The congestion and sniffliness finally arrived, and although it sucks, at least I can console myself with one small thing--maybe I'll have it over with now. I've had a series of half-assed sicknesses lately. At least twice while I was still working at the store and about three times since then, I've started getting sick, got past the fevery acheyness, and then end up getting better before it gets any worse. It felt pretty unnatural, so maybe that will stop now. I can hope, at least.

I'm not planning on complaining about it, though. I'm just saying, I spent the day on the couch watching a kind of lame but really cute Whoopi movie, Call Me Claus, and that was pretty much the highlight of my day, so I doubt I'll come up with anything fun to write about. My husband is quite busy having an affair, so I don't see him much these days. At least I'm the lucky sort--he's not one to have affairs with other women, at least. He's absolutely obsessed with this game and so I just see the back of his head mostly. ;) I'm pretty accomodating, though, since I do the same thing sometimes. Besides, I haven't really wanted to do anything in particular anyway, and he does stop every so often to check on me, so that's nice.

I just spent ten minutes looking for a good picture for the next thing I was going to write about and now I haven't the faintest idea what I wanted it for. Seriously. I've spent another ten minutes trying to imagine what kind of crazy thing I had been planning on writing about. I think that might be a sign that my brain isn't quite functioning well enough to write tonight, so I'll go look for something else to do--hopefully something that I can't screw up by not paying attention. :)

Poor you being so sick!! *hugs* I hope you're right and that you're getting it out of the way and then won't be sick at all for the rest of winter ... or whatever the hell season it is where you are???

Tell your hubby if he does pay TOO much attention to that game I might cut his lunch ;)

If you've been sick for that long with cold symptoms, have you considered getting checked out for pneumonia? I had a cold that wouldn't go away 2 years ago and was totally flabbergasted to find out it was pneumonia. If so, antibiotics will clear that sucker right up.
