So we watched the Paris Hilton sex tape last night--just couldn't resist the hype. Could there be anyone less likely to have been filmed without her permission? Hehe. They were both much more interested in the camera than the activity.

My dear hubby got off work an hour early yesterday, which was nice. He had two days off, a short day, and now two more days off. It's not like living in Sweden, but it sure is nice. :) I suspect there will be lots of movie watching this weekend.. we both got DVDs for Christmas. I had a horrible headache yesterday, though, so it was a quiet afternoon and evening. I went out running around with my parents in the morning. I didn't end up buying a whole lot, but I did buy two Christmas presents for next year. ;) That feels ridiculous when one has as little storage space as we do. Oh, well, it was cheap and stuff.

Oh! And I got a Happy Friday present yesterday. :) M brought home two Game Boy games for me. He went to Sam's on his break and picked them out. That made me very happy. They're both fun. :) I guess he also got a bit of a Happy Friday gift.. I picked him up some candy and a movie. Great minds think alike, I guess. :)

I wrote "smiley pirate" on our whiteboard to remind me to write about it, so I might as well do that now so I can erase it. M's already asked me once what it's about, and he really should be in a position to know. In a fit of silliness, I drew a pirate on his belly the other night. It was very funny, but he wouldn't let me take pictures of it to post. He agreed that I could draw a face, but he thought I was going to draw just a couple of lines and call it done. I turned his bellybutton into an eye instead of the typical nose, and drew an eyepatch for the other side. It could wink! It was very much a work of art, if I do say so myself.

I can't believe Christmas is already over. It all goes so fast now. I remember December being so much longer when I was a kid. We still have our tree up.. we were thinking about leaving it up a little longer than usual this time, but now I'm beginning to think it should come down. I want to get our house back into order, and if we don't do it this weekend, I'll either have to do it myself or wait another week, and that seems excessive.

Anyway, I've been letting M sleep a little longer, but I should go wake him up now or he'll never be able to sleep tonight, which will make him sleep late tomorrow and then not get enough sleep for Monday. I'm still sleepy and need to get in the shower so I can wake up a little more.. this entry has been very random and weird. Maybe that's why I don't usually write first thing in the morning. :)

I always take my tree down on New Year's Day. It's a day when you don't have a lot of other stuff planned and not much is open to distract you from doing it.
