M and I have been all motivated today. We have a lot of little projects and we're going to get them done, by golly. We celebrated this decision this afternoon by taking a break and going to buy groceries. I really think that we're hopeless. :)

No, I did get some work done, including a temporary solution to a long-term problem. Let's just say that the front page of Mosaic Minds is now updateable (in three places) and commentable. Fun stuff. And I printed my book! I even took pictures, although I haven't transferred them yet. I feel that it's a little sad to take pictures of computer equipment in use, but it was an exciting moment and have I yet said how much I love the new laser printer?

Oh crap. For the second day in a row, we forgot to call Kathy. My aunt called me yesterday morning and woke me up to ask if I would fix Kathy's computer. This is a friend of the family or so. It "doesn't work" and she wanted to know if I could look at it. I was half-asleep during this entire conversation, although I have a distinct recollection of assuring Aunt Rita that I was awake. She has a 17-year-old kid, so she knew perfectly well that I was lying. Anyway, we were supposed to call her to talk to her about the computer but I haven't thought of it at all except when it's much too late to call. Darnit.

I also just remembered that I was supposed to pay bills tonight, too, so I should go get that done so there's the slightest chance of getting them in the mail tomorrow morning. I do strange things at 1:48 am these days.

I'm thinking we should go over to them to fix their computer and do something FUN with it. I'd do a poll if I could. Any suggestions?

I don't think that would go over all that well, you silly boy!

Motivation is fantastic and should be rewarded, regardless of whether or not it leads to achievement :) Well done!

Thanks--we reward ourselves for such small things that I wonder at how we ever get anything done!

But the rewarding in itself is actually getting something done so it's a win win situation :)
