I've been in a pretty good mood all day today, which I think is worth mentioning. Actually, this might be the best I've felt all week. Don't get me wrong.. I really think I will like the job. (Stop fretting, Glenna!) Eventually. It's just that it's a little overwhelming at the moment, so when I get home, I've been a little out of sorts. Well. Except for Tuesday, when I only worked half a day. That always helps with your mood. :)

I ended up in a meeting today and missed the lunch and museum trip--I said yesterday that I would like to go but then it didn't happen. M had my phone, so I didn't call him to let him know I was coming home for lunch, and when I got here, he wasn't home. Moreover, he had taken the phone so he could go to the cell phone store to get our plan changed. Errr.. well, there's a lot more to this story but M has already patted me in that "poor dear" sort of way once already today when I told this story--it's not my fault that I have to make every story long! Anyway, I called him from home, and he had dropped the car off at a service place for a few hours and was walking around town waiting to go back and get it. (Bad bad struts.) So, I went to pick him up and gave him my car so he could go home, and he came back to pick me up from work. We went to pick up the car straight from work, and as we pulled into the parking space, his car was being lowered to the ground behind us. Perfect timing.

We also got to visit our neighborhood Kroger for the first time, which I was kind of excited about. It's just kind of a sign of our new life--shopping at a new grocery store. It was not as terrific as I had hoped, though. I don't know why.. just not feeling the love for this particular Kroger. M suggested it was because the ceilings are too low. I guess it doesn't matter. I can't believe I'm writing about this at all, actually.

Anyway, I need to call Jenny tonight and maybe get a little work done with the clothes, so I guess I might as well shut up and get on with the evening. Internet scheduled for tomorrow--pretty happy about that. How have I stood it for so long without my internet fix?!

It's good reading about your move. I'm moving soon in less than a week, too -- do you have any advice (re: packing, unpacking, etc)?
