I tried to talk myself out of going to visit family today, and it might have worked out quite alright if I hadn't. Nothing went truly wrong, but everyone seemed a little.. tense. My mom mentioned something about Whitley late in the afternoon, and I said that today, I was thinking that she would be pretty much her only grandkid. Mom nodded and said that today, she was thinking that would be pretty much okay. The kids were driving me crazy. They were such brats, and Devon kept stepping on the puppy and hitting the cat. He didn't mean to step on the dog, but the cat was on purpose. Then he whined for half an hour, until Angie told him to stop. He did actually stop then--but he started crying instead.

I was going to write more, but then M wanted me to help him format his grades. He's hopeless with stuff like that, and I tend to be quite good at it, so it's kind of my job when something needs done. In this case, he needs to have his grades translated to English, and then translated to American equivalents, and his school claims that they can't do the translation to English due to the overwhelming number of people who request the service. It's funny, I really wouldn't have thought that would be something they needed to do all that often. In any case, they will stamp it if he translates it and sends it to them, so all isn't lost. But now I have to get to bed instead of killing time here. I'd give a dollar if it was Friday night again..
