How is it possible to format a drive, install the operating system and all necessary and legitimate programs, and, at the end of the process have more spyware/virus problems than you did to begin with, but without actually using the darned computer? Oh. Right. Windows. Nevermind. I'm just glad it's not mine.

We went to Pizza Hut tonight and had one of the most abysmal waitresses I've ever had the misfortune to experience. She saw us come in, made eye contact with me, and then disappeared. One of the cooks had to go fetch her from the back several minutes later just to seat us. Twenty minutes after we ordered, we heard her actually put the order in. She brought out our main course (forty minutes after we had ordered) and five minutes later, we finally got our appetizer. When we asked about it, she got all snappy and said that it wasn't her fault before walking away. There were no refills, even though there were clear indications that she saw it was time. She didn't even bring the bill. So when we paid, M grabbed a feedback card that lets you call in to answer a survey and get a $3.99 pizza. When he entered his choices on a scale of one to ten, they automatically transferred him to a customer service representative.. who is sending us a coupon for a free pizza. So, there you have it. The squeaky grease gets the wheel, or however it goes.

I'm itching like crazy tonight. I think the whole world should be proud of me for not complaining about my itching, because I want to, a whole lot. I have no idea what it's about but it's been going on for months, off and on. I've switched detergents, body wash, shampoos, fabric softeners, gone dye-free and perfume-free whenever I have the chioce, and still it comes back. If I scratch, it develops into a full rash with welts and redness. It's generally on my neck and chest, but tonight it's on my belly and scalp. I suppose I should talk to a dermatologist or something like that before I go absolutely batty.

In any case, I have had major jonesing for chocolate chip cookies lately, and I believe this is the perfect night for it, so off I go. Nightie night!

Get thee to a dermitologist! They have all sorts of miracle creams that can probably help solve your problem.

Cool about the pizza. The squeaky wheel really DOES get the grease, something I have a hard time with b/c I was raised to keep my mouth shut and just be grateful I was alive. Complaining was not allowed. But now when I do complain I get better treatment. Amazing.

I'm all for the miracle creams. I really should go. I'm just lazy, and I've kept thinking it would go away on its own. I never learn..

M says he's not so sure about being referred to as squeaky grease, but otherwise, the pizza thing was pretty neat.

OHMIGOD, I would have gone insane if I was itching like that! GO TO THE DOCTOR! I had an allergic reaction to one of the components of the epidural they gave me hen I was in labor with Karin, and within 15 minutes I was itching from THE INSIDE OUT all over. It was total misery before they got the dosage switched. Are you taking any kind of medicine that might have such a side effect?

Eeek eek eek, that sounds horrible! And now I'm afraid of epidurals. Thanks, Liz. ;) No, just kidding. And.. no, no medicine to blame. I was thinking it could be related to my hormonal problems because it started somewhat after those started, but I'm thinking it's pretty much time for any lingering effects from that to be gone. I don't know. It's not a constant thing so it's easy to forget about during the day, when I should be making an appointment. (Usually happens at night.)

I've never heard of anyone else having a similar reaction to an epidural, and it didn't happen the first time with Martin. :) I'm allergic to certain kinds of anesthetics, can't even wear regular bandaids because they have something in the adhesive that causes a skin reaction. :)

Nah, I keep him well-groomed. Actually, he grooms himself somewhat compulsively so I don't have to bother with it too much. I know this because there is a constant smatterng of tiny black hairs in my bathroom sink. *sigh* Messy man..

Have you considered food allergies? Or something you're cleaning with or some fragrance in the house (since it happens at night)? Food allergies can be tricky...I was fine eating shrimp for a long time, then all at once, BAM! I was deathly allergic to all shellfish. What about M? Has he switched colognes, shave creams, soaps, etc? Are any of your products "new and improved scent"? Too many things to consider! Go to a doctor, you'll feel better, and less itchy. Hugs!
