We've been sort of productive today, although now we're supposed to be working on Silver Angel. I'll start on that in a minute. Magnus is talking to our insurance company at the moment, so I guess he's still being productive.

We slept a bit late, and were awakened by the other guy's insurance lady calling. She was not happy to hear that M was actually injured already, and so I don't know when we'll hear from her again. I guess not until Monday at least, since I'm sure she won't be working on the weekends. Never mind that she was off work three days this week. Oh! And the funny thing! We're going to buy the Cavalier back from them! For $50! *giggle* I guess we'll go pick it up tomorrow morning. Or, Dad will. Probably. Maybe. He doesn't know about this new turn of events. Him and Mom are in Lexington with Whitley having a field trip. I guess they're probably on their way back now, since it's nearly three.

We stopped at Randy's and drove my new car. Well, we haven't bought it yet, but it seems pretty likely. The only thing we're waiting on, really, is that someone is supposed to be coming it to trade in a Mazda 626, and so it could possibly be an even better car at a comparable price.. we'll see. We almost went ahead and bought it, but since he knew that the lady is supposed to be in tomorrow, we felt that if we bought it now, we might have a reason to regret it, and that would suck. But in general, we both really liked it. It drove really well, and stuff.

Looked at the nice trailer really quick and got a price for it. Not that we're not going to buy one, but still. Quick errands and then we came home to get some work done. And now my hubby is off the phone so I should get to work too. *wave*

Personally, how does it feel to get that car, to drive it, for it to be truly yours?

:)

You mightn't need to answer that..

Erm, hi. :) Not quite sure what ya mean, exactly. It was pretty nice to drive the car that I'll most likely be owning in a couple of days, though. And it's much nicer than the car we're replacing, even though we weren't planning on replacing it at all. :)

I don't.. know you, do I? *giggle* I've never had anyone randomly post to my journal before! Neat. :) How'd ya find me?

Nay, don't know me.. and I wrote out this long chapter of a book to introduce us.. Grr, livejournal.

but anyways, I'm Joshua. ::extending hand through screen::

Yes, I risk electrocution to be courteous. ::half grin::

I found you in only the best possible way.. Randomly.

and since I find you to be quite interesting, your journal and my few words will get along splendidly.

and as for us, I'm sure of an equally enjoyable banter ahead.

As for the car comment, I was referring to the feeling of the car being actually yours.. yours to drive.. yours to get lost in.. yours to explore.. to go down the dark roads, and be free. Of course, writing does that for me, but driving is up there. :)

ahh, right. It's a little too early (don't want to get too attached to it and not buy it after all!) to get that excited about this car, but I do remember that freedom well, especially with my first car!
