Why is it always so cold in here?

Today has been.. somewhat long and uneventful. We got up, got dressed. I actually managed to fall down getting in the shower, but I didn't hurt myself too badly. I was completely fine until I slid back and hit the spout with my back. But I'm not positive it'll even bruise, though it's a little tender. No big deal, though. I met the parents and Rae at La Finca's for lunch and Magnus stayed home. We were thinking that maybe we should see other people on an occasional basis... we don't particularly want to, but perhaps it would be healthier.. *giggle* Just kidding.. mainly. :) Anyway, then I came home and we spent a little while trying to decide what to do with the day. Magnus had it settled.. as always.. computer games. I found this uninteresting, but I played with programming stuff for a while and then got bored.

We went on a .. cleanup spree that didn't really accomplish much, other than the dishes. I took the dishclothes out of the cloth zippered pillowcase thing that we put them in when we had mice. It's been nearly a year since we saw the last one, so I figure it's safe by now. I also moved our cool gold lamp with the blue and gold shade to the bedroom. It looks rather nice in there, but now what do I do with my widdle lamp? The dilemmas of small spaces. We fixed and straightened some stuff in the computer room.. hung wires so they wouldn't be in the floor, etc, and didn't get much of anywhere with getting the place cleaned up. I just don't think it was meant to be, today.

Mom called and was all excited about the sale they were having at WalMart. 75% off the clearance stuff.. therefore, jeans for $1.75. Really good deal, that. I didn't really feel like going out there, but I finally decided it'd be dumb not to. So we get out there and there was.. well, nothing worth buying. So that sucked. But we drove around just a little before we came home, and that was nice. We're looking at houses. Not that we're going to be buying, or moving anytime soon, we just like to look at houses and talk about what kind we'll buy someday, when we're fantastically rich. Kinda wish that was soon.

Magnus had leftovers and I had a quesadilla for dinner.. completely unspecial. We watched French Kiss on Comedy Central. Sorta. We stayed in the computer room, and Magnus just listened to it for the most part, but I watched it. It was pretty good. :) Sweet. But it reminded me of this other movie I watched once, and I've had it in my head ever since. It was when we were in the process of falling in love.. I don't really remember if we had met in real life yet.

The movie was about this American guy whose girlfriend was studying art in Venice (I think), and the phone calls had sort of stopped coming, so he goes to visit her and finds out she has a new boyfriend, etc. Then he ends up on the train to Paris with this woman, and on an impulse, he talks her into getting off the train with him instead of going on, just for the evening. And the movie is about what they do and what they talk about and where they go in Paris in the middle of the night. And, of course, they fall in love. They keep talking about how it wouldn't really work cause of circumstances, so they won't exchange phone numbers or anything because then they won't ruin what they had with a relationship that just eventually disappears due to distance.. but then at the end they walk away and then come back and decide to meet at that spot, one year from then exactly, and if they were both there, then it was meant to be. It was really sweet, and I'd really like to see it again. But I don't know what it's called, or if it was even a 'real' movie or just a made for tv thing. Argh.

Other than that, we've spent much of the evening looking at random pictures. http://crazy.codetroop.com/randimg/. Some really funny stuff, and in amazing quantities. It was just somewhat addictive after a while.. next and next and next, and it got kind of boring. Some were hilarious though.

Sleepy girl time. :)
