I'm not positive that I have anything spectacular to say about today. But I suppose I'll try, in any case. I'm downloading the newest version of Netscape for testing purposes. I'm having a very hard time of it.. something isn't working quite the way it's supposed to. And who knows what Magnus is doing, but it's not much faster than it would be with a dialup modem at the moment. :)

Magnus and I joke about all the time how no one ever calls us. Not that we particularly mind, it's just that we talk to our friends by email due to distance, we see the extended family once a week (well, my half at least) and so my parents are the only ones who call. Funny thing is that when Magnus is gone to work, the phone rings all day long. He calls 3-5 times. He calls when he gets there, at lunch, and when he leaves. Sometimes he gets bored on the way home and calls too, though he usually thinks up a reason so I won't know that's what it's about. ;) Anyway, in addition to that, my parents have called twice, the insurance company called twice, Aunt Rita called once. 10 phone calls is our typical *monthly* ration of phone calls almost! Weekly to be sure.

I worked on the mandolin website some today, and did a bit of playing with style sheets cause it's fun. Such neat things you can do with it. I lost all my creative energies all at once, though, and went off to read a while before starting dinner. It was a long, drawn-out affair tonight. I wasn't sure exactly what the meal was going to be, but I decided to make Magnus some deviled eggs, because he loves them. I also had macaroni and cheese on the agenda, and I wasn't quite sure what else. When he called from Sam's, though, we decided that he'd bring a rotisserie chicken home. Really good, those things. So that's what we had. And now he has a fridge full of leftovers that I won't touch. *giggle* I definitely don't eat deviled eggs, and can't handle reheated mac n cheese. As for the chicken.. I dunno. I don't like turkey of that sort reheated, but I'm not positive I've ever tested it with chicken. *ponder* I suppose we'll see. Oh, and silly me forgot to put the leftover Mexican stew and rice thing from last night in the fridge. Which I guess is okay. There was enough for one person left, and I could have had that for lunch, but I would have had to fix more rice and stuff anyway. I really suck at making rice. Next time, we're buying instant.

I'm not positive what we're going to do tomorrow. We've discussed going to Ohio to an internationalish food store, to London (KY!) to a flea market type thing, briefly and jokingly discussed Gatlinburg, and also having new tires put on the Cavalier. That last thing sounds boring, the Gatlinburg thing ain't gonna happen, it hasn't been quite long enough since we were at the vendor's mall in London, and I really don't see us driving to the food store tomorrow. I guess that leaves the tires, but really, that sounds pretty boring, especially since this is one of the last Saturdays Magnus will have off. It's the big car sales day, apparently, and since he's in training, he doesn't have to work tomorrow. They really don't want him near the customers yet, I think, since he doesn't know all the specifics about the cars yet.

Apparently they take business trips to Sweden sometimes. Next time they go is in the fall. Wouldn't that be neat?

It was so pretty yesterday for a while.. like, 70, although the wind was a little chilly. Then it got dark and cloudy, and it started snowing, of all things. Flurries, really. Anyway, today it's colder, around 35. That's so perverse.
