Monday night
Apr. 8th, 2002 11:26 pmI finished Magnus's program today. Version 1.0, naturally. :) I had way too much fun with it, really. It even has color schemes. and a help file. *giggle* It turned out nicely, though, if I do say so myself. :) He's drafting specifications for the next project now. :) A customer database, I believe.
The day was surprisingly short, particularly since I was up early. I woke up and looked at the clock this morning and it was 7:30.. not good when one's husband is still asleep and needs to be in Lexington at 8:30.. :) So he gets up and runs around really quickly and after he leaves, I'm still awake. I don't know what woke me up in the first place, even. I read for a while, but then went ahead and got up. Then suddenly it was noon, and then it was four, and then the phone rings, and then I'm suddenly making dinner. It was really strange, that. Not that I'm complaining, because normally the days are way too long. ;)
Dinner, by the way, was pretty good. We had some garlic and herb roasted potatoes and butter and garlic grilled (read: frozen) fish, and broccoli. The potatoes were excellent. I wasn't too crazy about the fish. Too chewy, and not white enough for me. I have a conceptual problem with seafood. It must follow strict specifications before I can eat it. No bones, no dark spots, no white gooey film, no heads, no tails, no skin, no eggs, no internal organs, no eyeballs. Now that I think about it, it typically needs to be fried. Funny thing is I have no problem with tearing apart a crab and eating the leg meat. ;) (No lobster, no crawfish, though. Only crab.) I'm very strange about it, really.
We got some pictures of mandolins for the site today by email. I'm not sure they'll help, but I'll look into the site design a little more tomorrow, if I get a chance.. we've been waiting on the pictures before I did any more work, and might as well get it all done. :) Need server info, though.
The parents stopped by with our Easter presents tonight. Dad wanted to play on Ebay, and Mom and I played Upwords. I won, though by the end I'd have been glad to lose as long as the game was over. Took an excessive amount of time. ;) And I do not cheat!
