Still have problems with typing on a non-natural (unnatural?) swedish keyboard, and I don't want to be up much longer, so this will have to be short, I guess.

Today has been a nice day. It started off slow.. now that I think about it, it's also been a million years long. We slept until eleven, which I remind you is actually five a.m. Got dressed and had lunch at home (cereal for me, sandwiches for M) and pittered around until we finally decided to go with Erik down to the boat so he could fix something, and we would walk around the lake thing. Took longer than expected, so we went to the mall for an hour and came back. Still wasn't quite fixed, so I sat there while they went boating.. just teasing. :) They did go for a test drive to see if the thing was still broken (too slow) while I sat with my feet dangling off the whatchacallit thing. Anyway, I really don't want to write any more about this. :) Came back and pittered around for a little while, and then decided to go into town to eat. Gunnel had a water gymnastics class, so we met Kina and the four of us walked around Gamla Stan looking for a place to eat. We ended up at Blå Dorren (The Blue Door.. and guess if it had a blue door or not?) and waited for Gunnel to arrive after class. We had a nice dinner and walked to a coffee shop in Järntorget, which is a nice square where some lovely people killed lots of the nobility a really long time ago. Then we made plans for M and me to meet Tomas at JoLo, and Kina decided to join us, so we went there, sat around a while, Kina left, and the three of us played pool. Blatt won four games, I won two games, Magnus won zero games. Muahaa. I tend to be pretty lucky with pool. I don't bother too much with aiming or calculating angles or any of that silly stuff. I just hit the ball as hard as I can and hope it goes in. I think this has something to do with the fact that we used to own a pool table, and as I was younger than everyone else, I lost a lot, so am pretty good-natured about it. Around the time that my brother's best friend beat me with one hand tied behind his back and him on his knees, I gave up on precision and exploited my lucky streak... and give not a care to how badly I'm playing.. it really does make it more fun that way.

Anyway, we briefly debated finding a new place when JoLo closed, but finally decided that it was after eleven and Tomas has to work tomorrow and we have to get up earlier, so we came hom. We walked to the train and waited fifteen minutes for that, and then walked ten or so minutes from the train. It could have been a little warmer, but the walk was nice anyway, cause I had my baby with me!

Since I have a few more minutes, I'll add a little bit about what´s been going on. The travelling sucked. We had a near disaster with the flights. We were on the flight from Pittsburg to Newark waiting to take off for an hour and a half due to a broken hydraulic pipe or some such, and then we thought we were going to miss the flight for Newark, as our 11:40 flight didn't happen until they got another plane at 2, which didn't take off until 2:45 or something. Luckily, though, our international flight was scheduled for 5:45, and we had enough time. So that turned out okay. We slept a little on the plane, but were still a little tired (note the understatement here) when we arrived at 7:30 a.m. and supposed to start the day. :) We got settled, went to the Stinsen Vivo to get some stuff for dinner, and then took a three hour nap. M's parents had tickets to a free pre-opening movie, so when we got up they were gone. We took a short walk and came back. Talked with Kina until it was time for some lovely barbecue. Which is barbecue in the not American sense.. grilling out, with some beefish stuff on sticks and mushrooms and zucchini, which was my favorite thing from the last visit. I actually asked M the other night, as I was falling asleep, if he thought his mommy would make zucchini again. *giggle* It was good. :) After dinner, we volunteered to take his sister home so she wouldn't have to take the train, and we got to see her apartment. Very nice, and as far as locations go, quite incredible. She lives in the middle of Stockholm, and commutes way out for work.. which I thought was somewhat unusual. hehe. 45 minutes, one way. Nice place, though. Anyway. Considered swinging by Tomas's apartment on the way back just to annoy him, but decided against it finally. Went to our gas station instead and just came home. We were pretty tired by then in any case, and it was getting late, so we went to bed right away, more or less.

Anyway. Now that I've done the requisite catch-up, perhaps I can go to bed now. We're going to go see the big changing of the guards event at 12:15, and then walk around town until Kina gets home at 7 and have dinner there. So. Nightie night!
