Monday afternoon
Jun. 3rd, 2002 05:18 pmMore sickness. Sucky.
Magnus worked late on Saturday, but he did sell a car for his trouble. Sunday we were supposed to go to Papaw's, but I woke up sicker than I'd been on Saturday, of course. Even sicker today. So we spent most of the day at home, with him playing games and working on his mandolin and such, and me reading on the couch, mainly. We did go to WalMart, though. For dinner, we had fried potatoes, rice and broccoli, and SpongeBob SquarePants Mac n Cheese.. a bit of a surprise for my hubby, that. He likes SpongeBob. *giggle* He'll be 28 next month.. but anyway.
Tonight, I think we're having baked potatoes. Mmm. Magnus won't be home until around 7:15, which is plenty of time, of course. Or maybe parmesan potatoes. I've had a craving for potatoes lately. I don't really know why. I'm sure that someone would say that I'm not getting enough... starch, or carbohydrates, or butter (ha! sometimes I even make myself laugh) or whatever. Not sure that's true, what they say about cravings signalling a deprivation. I think I just like potatoes.
I wish I could say that there was anything exciting going on, but there doesn't seem to be, especially with me unable to do much due to the illness. Speaking of which, it seems that it's time for more ibuprofin.. the achiness is back. I was actually up before seven this morning. I'm still completely on the wrong schedule, and being sick isn't helping. I took a somewhat long nap this afternoon, though. Which was nice and not. Now I feel like.. I've taken a somewhat long nap. Ergh. Can't please me sometimes.
And I want a Lemon Ice Gatorade. *mumble*
I guess I'll go for now.. I'm just complaining anyway. I might play Nintendo for a while. I keep thinking I'm going to give it back to Mom, because neither of us play with it much, and she does.
