I'm so tired, but we were very busy all day, so it's not all that surprising. We were up kinda early, and Magnus did some errands, and then we had lunch (corn dogs) and we left for Lexington. Went to Barnes and Noble and that was fun.. I got a cookbook.. Dinners in a Dish or in a Dash.. I saw the author (Jean Anderson) on Sara Moulton once and was actually thinking about buying the book someday, but then today I saw it on the bargain table for $6! So, that was fun. Also, I checked out Alton Brown's cookbook but confirmed my previous opinion--buying it online. $32 retail.. $22.75 online. And if I order two items, shipping is free. I just am not sure what else to order. Troublesome. *mgrin* I can always find books, though. :)

Anyway, we also stopped at CompUSA and Target, but didn't really buy much to speak of. Wooden spoons and a phone charger for the car. We considered going to see Spiderman, but decided against it.. then noticed that we were too late to get there in time anyway. Traffic was horrible. We then went to Sam's and bought a bunch of stuff.. including a LOT of cheese. Parmesan, Gouda, and goat's cheese.. all stuff that is outrageously expensive in Morehead. The goat's cheese is for a recipe I found (Sara Moulton again.. two mentions in one entry, how weird) for Asparagus Lasagna.. thought that might be fun. We'll see if it's any good. I'm just now learning to be adventurous. It *looked* good, at least, but we'll see. I need to go to the grocery tomorrow, and WalMart too. Busy day. :)

My skin hurts. I'm not sure what's wrong, just very sensitive, especially in just.. spots. My left leg, for instance, and my shoulders. Hoping that'll be fixed by tomorrow.

Joined the Women's Designer Group mailing list tonight.. actually had to be approved and send in a note about who I was and where I was from and stuff. I've studiously avoided approval necessary groups in the past. We'll see. Others have spoken highly of the group, so. :) I just wish someone would send a mail before I go to bed, so I can set up the rule and not have a potential flood of emails tomorrow in the wrong folder. :)

Magnus did the dishes tonight, and I was piddling around to keep him company for a while. I sorted the top shelf of the pantry a little, and actually came up with a new storage solution. *giggle* The boxes that garbage bags come in (Glad) are so sturdy that I hate to throw them away, specially since they're compartmentalized too. So I try to find ways to use them (out of sight, of course!) Anyway, this one was only two compartments, so I cut the top off and had just a box with a split down the middle. On one side, I put sauce mix packages, and on the other, muffin sized mix bags. Now they're not all over the shelf so that I can never find what I need! And, also, now there's room for the bread on that shelf. We tend to have to leave it sitting out on the small table. :)

Not that anyone actually cares about my storage solutions.

Not that I actually care that no one cares about my storage solutions.. *egrin*

I must confess that I'm so into Days of Our Lives again. I stopped watching it/keeping up with it at all because of the stupid storylines of the past three years or so. Demon possession and people who aren't really who they think they are ... not my cup of tea. I often said that they should bring Carly back and bury her alive again.. now THAT was a good storyline!

On that note, I believe it's time for bed. Night!
