Friday night
Jun. 28th, 2002 11:43 pmToday has been a pretty good day. First of all, it was Magnus's day off, and that's always good! And it was productive, too. Interview in Richmond for a cellphone company thingie. I hate to be specific at the moment, but things look good. So I did some shopping at a mall, and then we came back and ate at Applebee's, which is where we always eat when we have good news. :)
The parents and people were having a yard sale by the road today, and we had to go up to put my junk out. I have lots of old clothes, for example. Anyway, I wasn't too upset that I was going to be gone all day. Yard sale work sucks! Plus, it was very very stormy this morning (they set up later, after it quit) and it was not as hot as it could have been, but it was humid and muggy and stuff. Dad told me that if I set my stuff out and priced it, he'd sell it for me. I hope that goes for tomorrow, too, because I might not have much else to do like I did today, but I certainly don't want to be up there. Eww. But! I sold $23 today! That's always good!
After we got home, we've pretty much just been doing computery things. I've done some upgrading, which is exciting, so far. Now I just need to get things back to normal. Also, I'm trying to decide which flavor of Linux I want to install on my other drive. I have Mandrake 8 now, but I'm relatively sure I've screwed that one up, and besides, might as well try others out and decide which, if any, I want to use. I'd love to be a full-fledged Linux user.. just impossible for me to get used to, so far. Also, I want a Mac, but that's nothing new.
Okay. Time for me to go drag my fuzzy bunny off to bed. Night!
