Wednesday night
Jul. 24th, 2002 11:12 pmNew Alton Brown! Yoghurt! Woohoo!
We're such dorky creatures.
I meant to write more often, but of course, it's seemingly impossible for me to do lately. I have no idea why. We're kinda busy but not any more than usual during our computer time. I just don't think of it like before... until it's time for bed, then I remember that I didn't do it.
I had lunch with the parents at La Finca's today, and it was sooo good. I told Mom on Sunday that we needed to go as soon as I got Magnus back to work.. hehe. I've burnt him out on the place, but I love it, so I go with Mom for lunch. Works out pretty good.
Most of our free time in the last two days have been taken up by the new project--cleaning up the computer room. We have more storage in this one room than the rest of the house (minus the kitchen, of course) put together, and we were using them incredibly inefficiently. See, when we moved in, we were in a bit of a hurry, so we did a lot of temporary solutions. Then we've gradually put things into better places.. and we switched the bedroom and computer room around, which led to more temporary solutions and gradual fixes. So now we're working on making the computer room less cluttered and more office-like, as I completely cannot concentrate with all the junk lying around. Magnus has cleaned his desk, and I've mostly cleaned mine (I need a place to put my nail polish before I'm through.. if I can bring myself to move it. It's where I've kept my nailpolish for years.) But he's right, it does look a little cluttered. On the other hand, I don't really see it as clutter, since it's been there for so long. Decisions, decisions. Anyway. Back to the subject. I've been sorting cds, switching drawers, moving things around, sending things to the little room, etc. Lots of junk.
How ridiculous is this? Magnus's new job. On Monday, the hours were 8:30 to 5:00. Tuesday was 10:00 to 5:15. Today was 9:00 to 5:00. Tomorrow is 9:30 to 5:30, and Friday is 9:00 to 6:00. MAKE A DECISION, PEOPLE!!!!!
Anyway, my huggle bear wants to go to bed now, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that curling up in bed is better than sitting in a hard computer chair, so off I go.
