It kinda feels strange to write "Thursday night" and not follow it with commentary about the status of the last Friends episode.. :)

Today was my Papaw's birthday.. my farfar, to be specific and utterly weird. The parents took him and Mamaw to Shoney's to celebrate, so I went with them. And Whitley. It was pretty good. Nothing utterly special. I spent the afternoon working on the computer room, and actually made quite a dent in the stuff that needed done. Lots of specific things that have needed done since we moved in, but I won't bore you with the details.

There was an incident with a clever wasp that prevented me from cooking until after M got home, so went to Pasquale's. :) It was good, and nice to be out and relax. We took a walk up to look at the cars across the road, and then ended up going to Aunt Rita's house to fix Brad's computer. Yesterday I saw a t-shirt at ThinkGeek.com that said "No, I will not fix your computer." that I thought would be lots of fun to own. *grin* The problem was supposedly with his modem.. we took our USB modem up and installed it.. we'll see if the problem is fixed or if the tech support people were screwing with him.

Tomorrow, I suspect that I'll be seeing a little too many veggies for my comfort. Ugh. I think the cutting party (hehe) is going to be tomorrow to get ready for the bluegrass festival setup this weekend. We've both agreed to work, that should be tiring and fun. In that order.

Magnus's job has taken a turn for the different. Turned out that the changes made after he got the job made the Mt. Sterling retail store manager position less interesting. (More hours, less money, more days.. etc.) So he'll be doing business sales instead, in the Morehead/Maysville area. That's pretty neat. Possibly. Pays more, at least.

You know, the opening bars of Anna Begins still makes me feel shivery. Who knows why?

I miss the HtmlGoodies newsletter. As far as I know, there still is one, but the original writer quit and this other guy took over, and he sucked. Joe Burns wrote about tech news, with opinions. This guy writes about HTML questions and answers, and other stuff I don't want to read about. (I *KNOW* what the difference between a check box and a radio button is, thankyouverymuch!) Anyone receive a newsletter similar to the old HtmlGoodies?
