Friday morning
Jan. 11th, 2003 01:32 pmI couldn't post yesterday so you're spared the agonies of my laundry and other assorted ramblings. I still had it saved but it wasn't timely enough to bother with. We left for Lexington at around 3 yesterday and got to do some shopping, which was fun. I bought three books and some thread, and we harrassed the people at CompUSA about our rebate. I hate rebates. But we also cashed a $20 rebate check that we long ago gave up on ever seeing (I bought the software in Jan of 2001... see my point on how we didn't expect to see it?) so we had a free dinner at O'Charley's. Always good.
I ordered some stuff from Barnes and Noble, and now it's finally all been shipped. I'm very excited because two of the three books turned out to be unavailable after a couple of days with no progress on the shipment, but unexpectedly, both of them shipped last night. Yay! The first book shipped a few days ago, and so I should be receiving the next Wheel of Time book today or Monday.. I would guess Monday. That's sorta okay because I'm rereading the next to last one right now in preparation. Oh, who cares?
I'm not entirely sure what the plan for the day is except for what we're having for dinner, and I guess that means we're not going to be up to a whole lot of anything. I just hope the dishes get done. *hint hint* :) Glad we went to Lexington yesterday so we don't have to today. Of course, if we hadn't gone yesterday I wouldn't not be in the mood today, would I? This entry is turning out to be as worthless as yesterday's. I'll stop now.
