Greetings from workland
Aug. 12th, 2003 09:31 pmThought I should write a nice little journal entry while I'm at work. Not that I can post it until I get home, of course. Business has been incredibly slow today, and I certainly have plenty of time to kill. I have a few more things to get done today, but nothing that can't wait.
We've been talking about the possibility of doing Something Nice. We're not exactly sure if we mean something nice for an evening, for the weekend, for when he gets fired, or what exactly this something nice will be, but it's fun to think about. Something different, I guess, is what we're after. I wanna go swimming, at the very least, and I'd like to go to Kentucky Kingdom (Six Flags, amusement park.) And to the beach, and Gatlinburg. And I'm beginning to think it's close to time to go back to Sweden for a visit, though I bet we won't for a while. M's parents said that they would come over to visit us for M's 30th birthday, which is next July. A while back they suggested that they just finance our next visit instead, so we'll see what happens. I really wish we knew what was going to happen with the job situation. Would make planning stuff easier.
