Mar. 28th, 2004 01:02 amGood day! Sometimes I just feel like leaving it at that. Well, I guess I could if I really wanted to but I apparently don't.
Jenny called this morning, so we got up and finished the cleaning that we talked ourselves out of doing last night. We were done in plenty of time, though--they had a bird-related emergency which caused them to be a little late. They have parrots, and one of them bit her eye. She's pretty lucky that she didn't get seriously hurt, I think. Anyway, we ate at La Finca's and came back to the house. Taught them to play Rook, which seemed to go over pretty well until Jenny and I lost. Twice. :) Had much fun with that. Just after they left, Brad called to ask if we wanted to play cards with him and Sheena, so then they came over. I don't remember the last time we had so much social interaction in this house! Two couples over in one day! Sounds kind of sad when I put it that way.
We've also been making plans for Blatt's visit. We're going to Comedy Off Broadway on the 16th, and Jenny and Andy are coming as well. I bought the tickets online tonight--the internet is neat. We have other tentative plans, but we'll let him decide the particulars of most of it. Kind of looking forward to having a visitor. It's really too bad he's not arriving sooner--the house is clean now. :)
Anyone know how to get rid of the smell of a permanent marker? I used one to color in around my Altoids tin where the hinge kept it from being spray-painted.. actually did that before I even . I just wanted it to be a little less noticeable, and it ended up working extremely well. But now it stinks. Think covering it up with a protective coat of something would cover up the smell?
