spring

M and I are having return-to-warm-weather air-conditioning issues this weekend. First of all, I know that second floors are often warmer than ground floors, but seriously, we have an appoximately twenty degree difference between upstairs and downstairs. I am wearing tiny shorts and a short-sleeved shirt. M just changed clothes to something warmer. I have gone downstais on several occasions today just to cool down. My face is burning.. it's probably because I am not feeling in top shape. If I wasn't really sick of talking about being sick, I would mention that my cold has made me feel really, really crappy today. But I am, so you'll be spared that.

I paid my electric bill today and when I dated the check, I realized, with some surprise, that it is April now. I knew that it was April, but it didn't fully sink in until tonight.. I suppose that's because I've barely left my house in eleven days. The sun has been shining and the air is fully warm outside (although, stepping out my door to check on that made me sneeze viciously) and.. I just don't know. Time is moving by. M and I were talking about dates and events and things we're planning on doing, etc, and suddenly, the word "June" entered the conversation as if that was possibly in the near future. It's not! It's still winter!

Not that I have a point here or anything. Besides, I need to go downstairs and cool down before bed. And kiss the hubby, cause he's playing our song. :)
