I FINISHED EDITING M'S BOOK!

You have no idea how happy I am to have that out of the way. It's in a heavy binder, 227 pages of size 8 Times New Roman (double-spaced, at least) and I'm estimating that it takes me an hour to do ten pages. On the first page, I wrote the date--December 19, 2004. I have lugged that book all over the house and the boy has nagged me unbearably and I have felt immense guilt over not getting it done, for I am a procrastinator and that is what I do I love his story, but his punctuation, I can live without. Actually, that's exactly what I did--live without it. *tease* Except commas. He likes commas. And by the way, just so you know, we have discussed this matter at length so I'm not saying this to be mean. It's not his first language and I think he has a perfect right to leave out hyphens, misplace a few modifiers now and then, or add a comma somewhere it doesn't belong. And furthermore, it is important that you all know that I am totally in love with Morton. I <3 Morton. I <3 Morton enough that M has taken a hiatus on his plans for book two and has been writing stuff down for book three, ALL FOR ME, because book three is now gonna be about Morton, and Zanlor. (He would possibly have a different analysis of the situation, but who cares? I get to read about Morton. Morton is my friend.) Anyway. Good story, but oh, am I glad to be done. Eventually I'll get to read it again without quite so much thinking involved. That should be fun. :)

Other than that, nothing much new. We seem to have been busy all day but I can't think of anything other than that that I actually accomplished. We watched four hours worth of LotR because I bought the extended version for M's birthday. Which, we had seen it already when I borrowed it from K at work. Ahh, those wondrous days of pink eye and sinus infections, that's when last we watched these movies! I think I am emotionally scarred from this spring's round of illnesses. It's kind of pathetic, really. I straightened up our medicine cabinet today. There were five types of allergy medication, three nose sprays, three bottles of cough syrup, one package of super-strength throat lozenges, random cough drops, two packages of chewable cough medicine, one prescription bottle of decongestant, a handful of medicine samples, a bottle of Zicam and an unopened steroid pack (for the last skin rash.) ALL OF THOSE THINGS WERE BOUGHT IN THE LAST SIX MONTHS. That's just not right.

In other news, there is still no other news.
