It's funny how sometimes you post because you want to, and sometimes you post because you feel like you have to. Today is one of those "have to" days. I'm okay with skipping a day here and there but I don't like to skip two. And have you ever noticed that people love to talk about their journaling habits and no one ever really is interested? Ahh, well.

There is nothing much new going on, except that I am getting off work eight minutes early this week, and somehow it feels like the evenings are longer. That is very, very nice. Yesterday, I was out in the yard ten minutes after I arrived home, and I ended up gardening for over two hours. We're working on our iris grove, mainly. (I know grove isn't the right word but I can't think of what you call those little sections of yard where there are flowers and bushes and stuff.) Most of our previous yardworking sessions have involved randomly running around picking up branches, pulling out vines and raking. We have the yard to the point now where we can stop a little with the general clean-up and can go with concentrated efforts in specific areas. The irises are to the right of the driveway, and they were completely buried under dead leaves and vines. (Vines. Vines are evil. Vines should die.) So, we're trying to start with the cleaning the areas with something growing first. It's been very, very cool to watch them spring into life because they're being cared for again.. in combination with the weather, of course. I love spring. Love it. And apparently, I love having a pretty yard. I never knew.

Actually, both M and I have a wide variety of things going on, but nothing that is conducive to blogging about. It's not that anything is a secret, but it's just not interesting at this point. I have some web stuff going on, but nothing I can show off, and I've spent several hours now sorting through books and arranging them in order to maximize the Pretty in the living room, and the Organized in the sunroom. Can I call it our library now that we have three bookcases in there? No? I have a list of things to do a mile long, some house stuff and some personal stuff. As the saying goes.. have you ever noticed that the busiest people are never too busy to tell you how busy they are? Yeah. Anyway, my point is just that eventually, I think that the stuff I'm working on will be interesting and worth writing about, but just.. not.. yet.

Anonner day. Wednesday.

(When my niece was very, very small, we told her "Not today, another day." about something. She replied, "Annoner day? Wednesday!" and it was so cute that we all died. She didn't even know what the days of the week WERE yet. Therefore, now "another day" is always Wednesday. Sometimes it even is.)
