(no subject)

I wish I could tell you about something more exciting than the status of our walls, but sadly, that's about all we've been working on today. Well, that and the Sims. Because one needs to have a diversion when one is busy working all day. Also, we went out to eat. I am feeling pretty smug since it's been two weeks since last we ate out (except for lunch on Thursday for me but that wasn't my fault so it doesn't count.) I know that two weeks is not a long time but.. well, baby steps, right?

Anyway, we have purchased, painted and installed crown molding, fixed the stupid peeling-paint issue (by painting over it with a small roller) and painted the closet. Unless tomorrow throws us a seriously unexpected curve ball, we'll be DONE with this horrid room project. I am so so excited. M is too, but not for the same reason that I am. I'm excited because I can't wait to see the room completed. He's excited that we will not feel like we have to work on the bedroom all the bleeping time. Either way, it'll be great to have it done. It's going to be lovely, I think.
