Anyone like free books?
Jul. 28th, 2008 11:23 pmBorders is running a nifty little sale that takes $5/off per item. I thought it was supposed to take $5/order but it's removing it from each book, which means those of you with kids can get a boatload of children's books for free, or at least cheap. Some books don't seem to get the absolute full price taken off, either, but most are. (I think that it's the ones otherwise on sale that don't get a full $5 off.) You'll need to have at least one item that causes your order to be over a dollar, I believe. Anyway, the website is sucking hardcore and I have spent all day trying to make it work but it craps out during the order process and gives me nasty little server errors. Other online folks have had success with it eventually, though, so if you want to try it yourself, use code: BR41925. I have been super excited about this stupid thing so I will be greatly disappointed if I don't get it to work. Good luck. I guess I'll try again in the morning and hope that it's less busy.
In other news, we forgot the power cord for the handheld portion of our baby monitor, and our camera, at my parents this weekend. What a great job packing we did! My parents took Evelyn to church with them so we can't even use the excuse that we were distracted by the baby.
