The most beautiful thing about the internet is that it occasionally affords you the rare gift of feeling pride in someone with whom you have never spoken. I found this extremely moving. I hope you do, too.
Somehow, I'm always reminded of these things around my birthday, because it seems that every year, I happen across something on the subject as I'm checking email or reading LJ on April 20th. Odd how that happens, especially since the things are rarely written on that exact date, but somehow I happen to read them then. All I have to say is, this song says it best.
