It is my birthday. I am now more than a quarter of a century old. I kept saying that last year but I said it wrong and it always came out half a century, and that is clearly not what I am. Maybe one day I'll actually look like I am more than sixteen.

To commemorate this VIB (very important birthday) we went out for dinner at Chilli's (dining review: eh.) and then, THEN, we went to Lowe's, where I got my very own mailbox key. Yes, that's right. We've only lived here a year, less a week. And, in all that time, the only occasions upon which I could check my own mailbox is if I stole M's key as we were pulling in the driveway. Stupid guy at K-Mart, you messed with our heads.

Also, my husband, my dear sweet husband, he just gave me a full foot massage, with lotion, completely out of the blue. He even cut one of my toenails. And then he went to shave, because I expressed my thoughts on his clean-shaved appearance. And this is all after he bought me an mp3 player for my birthday to make up for the notebook not arriving in time for the actual birthday. He's swell.

And now, I am so sleepy that I can barely keep my eyes open. So, I think it's time to head to bed, even though I'm not nearly ready yet. Thanks to all for the birthday wishes. :) It was a nice one, even though I had to go to that work place.
