same_skyI had this list in my head of pictures that I said I was going to post, and I think there were more things on that list but this is all I can remember.
Here's what the family tree looks like. I am so happy with this picture because I totally photoshopped it to make it appear as if it was taken from straight on but I was at a significant angle due to glare issues. The colors are a little off but not too much.. it's a pretty dark piece.
Just a bit of a close-up so you can see what the branches look like.
Weekend before last, we went to Louisville to spend the night in a hotel with an indoor water park. Granted, it was a small water park, but it was still fun. The only reason the pools aren't swarming with kids is that we ran in just before we checked out to snap a picture.
Remember I talked about redecorating my bathroom, and cutting out little dragonflies from the excess shower curtain and glueing them to the wall? See, they're cute. And if you think they're tacky and ugly then sod off*, I don't care what you think anyway. ;)
*A phrase which I have picked up from the husband but really shouldn't have.
And the only other thing that I will point out before I close for the night is.. it kind of defeats the purpose of having an absurdly productive morning break, in which you, among other things, bought lettuce (in order to avoid going to the store after work) for that salad you've been craving horrendously and looking forward to all day, if you then leave said lettuce at work. I think it speaks for the depth of my desire for a freaking salad that I turned around and went back to work immediately to get it, even though I had made it all the way home. Sometimes, I'm not so bright.
