Friday night

same_skyToday has been a very nice day. I wish all days could be Friday!
We did some errands in town.. bank and post office and such, and then ate at Subway's. Then I took my baby to see Star Wars. :) (more on that later) Afterwards, I took him to the flea market.. he thought it was his birthday! Did some grocery shopping and then came home for a while, taking a very short nap on the couch before dinner. After our hot dogs (M was very excited about the hot dogs because they were grilled *and* he got to use his Swedish mustard) we went to WalMart, and then we went to the parents later on tonight and stayed quite a while talking to them and Aunt Rita. Now we're home and doing computer-type things. I sorted my bookmarks, for one thing. That's needed done for a long time.
The movie was actually fairly good. It was so much better than the last one, at the very least. The acting was not good. The scene at the end with Yoda was great, though. I especially loved the way he picks up his cane and gingerly leans on it, after all that ass-kicking he'd been doing. Also, I was proud of myself for noting one thing. See, I haven't actually seen the whole (old) series. I watched the first/fourth one at some point but remember absolutely nothing about it. Remember preciously little about Episode I, and I saw that in May 99.. it was the first movie M and I watched together. Anyway, during an action scene in this movie, Obi Wan Kenobi says lightly to Anakin, "You're going to be the death of me yet!" or something similar. Later, I asked Magnus about it, and felt all proud of myself when I was right that this was indeed quite literally true.. and that Magnus hadn't even caught it. Yay me!
Tomorrow, I'm hoping to get some web stuff done, and perhaps some housework. Oh, crap. The dishes should have been done today. Every dish we have is dirty, as far as I can tell. Ergh. Well, we still have glasses left, of course. We have three cabinets with glasses in them. :)
I'm sort of in the mood for a home improvement project. A light one, though. I'm not in the mood for heavy duty junk.. no carpeting. Can't do that by myself. I'd like to wallpaper the computer room. I just think it might be a bit hard to do, because of all the windows and closets and such. I'd love to see something bright and airy in here, though. But we keep saying that we might as well wait, because we won't be here forever. It's so much better to have the computers in here than have this be the bedroom. Glad we switched that.
Sunday is the Adkins reunion, apparently. I guess we'll be going, unless something unforseen happens. It tends to be of limited fun, though.
My parents are considering taking their new travel trailer over to Maysville and spending the week on the river. Dad has to work next week, so when he gets off work, he'll just go home over there. Sounds like a lot of fun. If they do that, I might go over and visit with Mom while Dad is at work one day.
