M has just informed me that Swedish victory in the men's Olympic hockey is by definition a day of celebration and victory, and under no circumstances should actual work (such as installing molding) take place.

Ha. Ha. Ha.

(Yay, Sweden! Good job!)

In our household, the New York Yankees winning the World Series is a cause for celebration. Not that they've won the World Series lately.....

He can celebrate all he wants but he's still not getting out of the manual labor. ;)

It is also the only time Swedish men can cry without feeling any shame. Can it get more beautiful than beating the Finns in an Olympic final? I don't think so.

M was telling people at work that there is no greater moment in sports ever than when Sweden and Finland play (and Sweden wins, naturally) hockey. I'm not so sure what exactly the major deal is with the sport of hockey but I'm glad you all enjoy it.

Speaking of.. nothing, really, M claims that tunnbrödrullar are an entire food group on their own, and he further claims that if I don't believe him, you will back him up. So what do you think? I think he's on crack.

Surely not on crack. He's a Swede after all, so it's more likely he's been ODing on moonshine. Still, he's right about tunnbrödrullar. They are an entire food group of their own. Just like falukorv.
