--There will potentially be an Ikea in Ohio (maybe Cinci) by fall of 2007. This is GOOD news. It is very far from the closest Ikea at present, and I.. well, I like it. Sue me.

--I got a haircut last week. It's cute. Most of the time. It seems to have "really good" and "meh, okay, I guess" as the only two options, but at least it's not driving me crazy as was my hair before, which was getting quite long again.

--My parents are going camping in a relatively close location, and we have been invited over tomorrow or Thursday for food. Probably will go tomorrow, and it might include swimming, which I am very excited about. I really should have gotten things together tonight for that, because I might run out of time tomorrow.

--Today kind of sucked, but not in the way that I want to write about it.

--I swept my kitchen floor during my lunch break, and I cleaned the bathroom when I got home. So at least that's done now. Also, it's really nice that I can get a tiny amount of stuff done around the house during the work day. Occasionally. I wish I wasn't afraid to run the dryer while I was gone.

--MS Money or Quicken or something else? I've used Money, am going to try Quicken shortly. Any strong preferences? I have gotten on a financial planning/budgeting kick of late. We handle our money pretty well, in general (with a weakness for eating out, I must admit) but we're not doing anything with it. There is no plan. I have suddenly realized that I must have a plan for my life to continue to function.

--Because we are totally going to win a million bucks from the Pepsi cartons we just bought, and really, we should have a plan for that kind of cash, right?

--The snippet that I was writing this post for? Completely can't remember it. That really sucks.

Sorry to hear the day sucked :(

Why on earth are you afraid of running the dryer while you are out?? :)

I haven't always been afraid to run the dryer, but then I was reading somewhere.. in the comments of something, I think, that someone turned the dryer on and went to church, and when they got home, their house had burnt down, and that you should never leave the house while the dryer is running because it's a fire hazard. And.. I think that it's pretty unlikely that it would happen to me, but then again, I can't get it out of my head, either, so...

Ah ok... but I guess if you empty the lint often enough it really should be okay... that said I haven't had a dryer for quite some time now, I used to use it religiously but now don't at all and am much happier with the quality of my clothes actually. But for towels and pants and stuff it would be nice in winter ... that just warm feeling...
