Person that introduced you to LJ?
No one in particular. I read a few people's journal from Amerikanska before deciding to do a journal myself and asking for a code there. [livejournal.com profile] browncouch mailed me the code.

Still friends with this person?
We weren't so much friends to begin with, she just sent the code. :) I was too shy to add her once I got my journal going.. giggle. :)

Who have you introduced to Live Journal?
My darling hubby, [livejournal.com profile] totte. ;) Wish he'd post more, though. I've tried and failed to get a couple of friends interested.

List everyone on your friends list you have met in person:
I've met [livejournal.com profile] totte a time or two... :) I have a feeling I might have run into [livejournal.com profile] blookum without knowing it at some point, too. ;)

List everyone on your friends list you've not met BUT with whom you've spoken on the phone:
None.

Anyone on LJ you can't stand?
I've run upon journals of obnoxious people, but I don't keep reading them if I don't like them, so no clue who they are.

Name one person on your friends list you would most like to meet:
Can't pick just one. I would enjoy meeting any of you! (Yeah, I know that that's a cop-out answer. So sue me.)

Last person you added?

Ever banned someone from commenting in your journal?
Nope.

Biggest pet peeve about LJ?
I kinda wish they weren't called Friends. Not that I don't think of ya'll as friends, but it's just weird when you say, run across someone's journal that you'd like to read but how can you call them a friend when they haven't even heard of you before? I always feel weird about adding people who haven't added me first.. I know that's silly because I do like it when people add me. And I'm not a huge fan of quizzes, either. Or more specifically, it bugs me when people ONLY post quizzes. Surveys don't bother me, obviously. :)

I think instead of "Friends" they should also have "Neutral" or something... that way you could add someone (or vice versa) if you liked reading them and then after a while, add them to your "Friends" list once you got to know more about them.

Hey, LJ encourages fast friendships! *^_^*

Yeah. On the other hand, can you imagine all the problems that would bring.. with people being upset that they thought this person was their friend but they only listed them as neutral or vice versa? *giggle* People just love to make simple things complicated.. :)

I agree that the terminology is a bit skewed. It's pretty hard to translate the everyday relationships to virtual relationships. And I've seen some pretty weird over-reactions on-line to quite bland, innocent intentions. Maybe they need an "acquaintance" section. I know I'd not be "hurt" to be in that class, nor would it bother me if people removed me from the "friends" list. Life's just too short to get your knickers in a twist over such fluff.
