Yay! I've been such a good girl today! The last issue of Mosaic Minds went live with some of the old content missing, and that's been majorly hanging over my head and making me feel pretty crummy. My original idea was to do one section (out of twelve) per day, but it just didn't happen, so I set the next issue as the deadline. And tada! All content is back! I've also worked on the next issue, and caught up on a couple of emails and all that jazz. I'm almost giddy with relief. I've felt like such a slacker, which is unfair since I worked my ascii off for that last issue. Oh, my my, that was quite the funniest thing I've said all day.
I felt a little warm and fuzzy today when I was working on this. It just struck me what an incredible thing we've created. I won't lie and say that it's all been painless or easy, but it's something pretty special, I think. I mentioned an article that's in the next issue to M last week, and he asked who wrote it. I shrugged and said I had no idea.. and that is one of the neatest things about it, really. It's bigger than we are now. I have spent many hours in mindless toil, more time than I'd like to remember absolutely crazy-mad at something or another, and over the course of the last year, more than one tear has been shed over the whole project. In the end, though, it's been such a worthwhile experience. At least for me. Might get a different reaction from the rest of the staff. ;)
M promises that he will only play good music for me tonight. I have my doubts, but I can always hope. I told him I'd sing if the music was good, though, so that should be an incentive! (I won't say which way the incentive will be, though..)
