My cousin's daughter has decided that we should name the baby Gabriella. It's kind of a cute name, but not really our style. I just thought it was adorable that she keeps saying it's Gabriella, for no particular reason. She's thirteen and has Down's syndrome, so sometimes she has ideas that are somewhat unexpected. Gabriella just isn't a name that I would have expected her to come up with.

Thump, thump.

I got very brave this afternoon and actually made a phone call. I really hate making phone calls. In any case, we are now enrolled in a prepared childbirth class for February 24, a baby basics class in March and a breastfeeding class in April. The second two are just a couple of hours long on a Monday. The other is from 9-5 on a Saturday. We preferred that than two hours every Tuesday night for four weeks. I am not much of a joiner but I did feel like we should do these. For one thing, they're free, and for another thing.. it's what pregnant people DO, right? I was planning to do all sorts of planning and research this month, and I really haven't done that much besides start some very open-ended lists. I guess that you can put the pregnant in the girl, but you can't take the procrastination out of her. I know, that made no sense but I AM SLEEPY so pretend that it did.

I am so looking forward to the weekend! And my nice cozy bed!

I perfectly well understand, but I bet other people are reading this thinking, geez, what friends those two are! ;) I have thought of calling you, too, at various times. I could have called you before I posted about the ultrasound because wouldn't you have liked that? Too bad I didn't think of it until too late, of course, but it would have been nice.

Oh, btw. Ahem. Speaking of phones, would you like to be my internet posting person when Ducky arrives? :)
