My head hurts. It's funny because I used to have an almost constant headache, or at least one every couple of days or so. They've gradually gone away for the most part, and now I only get them occasionally. I can't figure out why they're gone.. I still had them after we got married, so it wasn't the smoke (my mom smoked when I lived at home) or the humidity or anything like that. I don't know. Weird. But I am certainly not complaining. I just feel so tense.
Anyway, haven't written in a while, much as always. Oh, I have a slightly unusual story for the day. Magnus was just finishing up the last of his work from home when my aunt called and said that Papaw wanted us to come up for a few minutes. This is highly unusual for him, because while he might let us know if we don't show up for a couple of days, he's not the type to just summon people for no reason, so I asked why. Aunt Rita says that he just has a little something to give us. So I tell her that we'll be up as soon as I change clothes. Ten minutes later, we walk up to the house (we kinda live behind the parents) and guess what? There's no one there! We sat there half an hour, wondering what we were supposed to do before we came home. I left a note--one that took two tries before writing one that wasn't bitchy, only abrupt--and she called back later saying something about Brad forgetting to stay for tutoring after school. And you know what? That would be bad enough but a couple of weeks ago she called and was saying that we should come up and visit for a while, and when we got there, she had went home! Is there something about me that inspires people to call, invite me over and then leave?!
Anyway. Had a nice evening out at Flinky's, watched MustSeeTV and tatted quite a bit. I'm almost done with the third round on my doily. Messed up a maypole wreath, though, but they're both small and I hadn't done very much on it. Magnus did the dishes, which I'm quite happy about. I've told him before that since he's working and I'm not, we can renegotiate on who does dishes (I cook, he cleans up, that's been our rule before) if he wants to, but if and when we do, it will NOT be when there are stacks and stacks waiting to be done. He still thinks he's a bachelor, though, and only wants to do them like, once a week, twice if he must. It drives me crazy, a little bit, but not enough to do them myself. :)
