I will never have a house where everything is put away, but I am still tired of some of the stupid things scattered about my house. Most of these things don't have a home, or need some sort of maintenance before they can be put away, or I need to use them for something specific soon. I was frustrated about the state of things, so I decided to put everything chronically out of place in this large clear tub. I've been throwing things in there for three days. The rule is that I must put away at least one item from this box per day, preferably more. To keep me honest, I will share my tub of shame with the internets, and I will document my progress as I go. I enjoy annotating photos upon occasion so this is as good an excuse as any to do that. :) It's a sign of my boring nature, and grown-up-ness, that the reward I get for doing this work is the work itself being done. Also, I plan to use this tub to store my fabric in because I am sick of seeing it piled in bookcases. We shall see if this works.

I can't live like this anymore! box

I haven't yet started putting things away from the box, but I did organize and put away all of my sewing papers and patterns as a direct result of this project. It is cleaner in there than it has been in months. I've also put a lot of things away instead of taking them to the box.

p.s. Once, I turned to M and said, "I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THIS ANYMORE." about our messy house. He has not yet let me live it down. Me and my melodrama, we are never apart.

I'll check that out as soon as I can and tell you. I'll try to refrain from procrastinating this time, given that you are due really soon! ;)

The pocket diapers that I've posted pictures of are all-in-ones in that the plastic-y cover is built right in to each one. At this stage, I like them so much better than a separate cover, but newborns don't wiggle! I miss those days, I really do. :) Oh, and you're totally right. I did post the two true AIOs that I made recently. I forgot about that. I think that fitteds + cover are great for little babies (more containing power for those runny poos!) and pockets / AIOs are great for bigger babies.. that's just my opinion, though. Do you still have your covers from the Imse Vimse days? My very favorite small cover was a soft Imse Vimse.

I will totally bow to your superior wisdom and experience, and go for the fitteds for the little-baby time, and then maybe branch out later! :)

I do still have some Imse Vimse covers, but only three or four, I think. If you've got some that you wouldn't mind parting with, I'm interested in those as well!
