Happy birthday to Carrie!

Today is carrieb's birthday. I think she is 29 (which is strange because I thought she was a little bit older than me but I'll turn 29 this year too!) I hope she has a fantastic birthday with lots of delicious cake and a toddler who does not pull her hair, break any unapproved eggs, yell, scream, hit, kick, throw a tantrum, eat anything off the floor, bite, yank, run off, fall down, break something, watch Barney, hide, refuse to sleep, have any potty accidents, or lick anything.

My daughter, on the other hand, crawled over to the door this morning and grabbed a clump of dirt and laughed out loud as she thrust it into her mouth and began chewing on it. GREAT! It was the first time she's eaten dirt but I gather it won't be the last..

I have had delicious cake (bought my the Queen of the Mods herself). I did have to give Erik a whipping and that was no fun. I don't like to spank but I have had it UPTOHERE with the boy. Hopefully this afternoon will be better.
