One Year Pictures

On Saturday, we took Ev out in the yard to do a one year photo shoot. She was generally cooperative, although not so keen on looking at us when there was so much else to see. She loves being outside.

It's funny because you almost can't even tell what a disaster our yard really is. Photography is awesome.

The one with her hand on her head--she was doing the sign for Daddy just before the picture was taken but then she kind of got lazy. The one of her sitting on the wall--one of my favorites. I almost didn't even have a heart attack while we were taking the picture! The last two (and the big one I posted first) were taken in the dogwood in our front yard. She really liked standing there. Oh, and the horse fence? I love that thing. It belongs to our neighbor. Well, technically it belongs to us cause it's on our land but that's another story. I like how she's just hangin' out there on the fence.

The fence is fab, too ... I always loved those pictures you see of the rolling Kentucky countryside with the miles upon miles of horse fence.

Thanks! I got the dress at Walmart! ;) M and I have different tastes in dresses but he picked this one out and I fell in love with it immediately. It's perfect.

The fences and rolling hills are two of the best parts of living where we do. You should see M's commute--he drives through some of the most incredible horse farm country there is every morning. It's ridiculous.
