M's sister left yesterday morning, and M and I are slowly returning to life as usual. We set a goal for ourselves that we would do absolutely no work besides putting the house back in order, and since Kina is the neatest house guest we've ever had, that's not taking too much energy. (The kitchen is a disaster but other than that...) We went yard saling yesterday and today. Drove all over town and spent $1.10, and bought a shopping cart cover exactly like the one we already have and one additional strap for said buggy cover. Strangely, from different yard sales. I broke the first strap and lost the replacement one that the company sent free of charge, so it tickled me to find another one for a dime. The cover was clearly brand new so I figured I couldn't go wrong with having a spare one. Soo, that was an excellent usage of our precious gas money. We had fun anyway, though it's not E's favorite pastime. Other than that, we have spent most of the time just hanging out. Lovely! Having guests is great but it sure feels nice to sit around with no regard for personal appearance or what fun thing to do the next day.

Picture of the four of us posing in front of the house here.

We had a lot of fun, although I have been crippled and unable to partake of all the fun I would have liked. My back did get some better after some DIY chiropractic. M tugged on my legs ala our old chiro, and something went *schnick* and then a) my back felt better and b) my hip started hurting. Eh, you win some, you lose some. It feels like sore muscles/joint in my hip caused by the strain of my backache (I was walking like someone with terrible arthritis.. it was very linked to that hip to begin with.) so I think the hip pain is a sign of healing. At the very least, it's not as painful as the back was. I have no idea what I did but I sure hope I don't do it ever ever again. Things are getting better but I'm still sore.

And... I guess it's time to go sew something, or watch television with the boy, or something like that. I cannot quite comprehend the fact that this isn't Sunday night. It has felt like Sunday all day. Bonus weekend day tomorrow! Excellent. It has been so great having M home this week. Well, home, where home is defined as "usually gone".
