More Than a Little

Internets, I have been cheating on you.
I started a new blog last month. I've been talking about doing it for a long time but have resisted the temptation until now. I wanted to get a little content up before I really even told anyone (except
carrieb, because I needed a favor from her) about it. But, I have been posting for a month now and so I figure it's time.
MoreThanALittle.com.
It's kind of a frugal living / shopping / domestic / personal blog. Come by if you would like to check it out. :) I'm hoping that, among other things, I can share a few of the better deals that I come across so people can get free or cheap stuff for themselves with only a tiny bit of effort. :) Carrie was kind enough to set up a LiveJournal RSS feed for me because I don't have a paid account anymore. If you're interested, you can check it out here:
mtal_feed. (Thanks again, Carrie!) There are also regular RSS feeds available.

Date: 2009-02-19 06:54 pm (UTC)I'm glad you asked! Actually, I think I'm going to make that a feature of all the shopping posts, because I get asked that a LOT. (Which I don't mind.. it amuses me, kinda.) I was saving everything for Christmas, and now that it's over.. well. My intent was to still just give things to people, but I'm not as excited about that as I used to be because it makes me feel weird and awkward when they don't act like they want it, even if I know it's something they use--actually, that happens most of the time, it seems. I also was planning on finding a charity to donate to, but then it occured to me that I might as well throw myself a yard sale or two with this stuff. A lot of the stuff I buy is stuff that we will use--whether or not it's the brand that we would have bought previously or not.
I will post pictures of my stockpiling closet as well as post about creative storage spaces for those without much space.. eventually.
On the other hand, with some of these deals, if it's something you don't want but you make money from buying it... you could really throw it in the trash and still come out ahead. I couldn't stand to do that myself because I would feel too wasteful but you could. ;)
