I am feeling a bit adrift today. I have been busy busy busy with Christmas, and all that it entailed. Then I was busy yesterday cleaning up from Christmas, and today, I finished up the main part of the cleaning and was suddenly lost as to what to do next. What shall be my focus now? I assume that tomorrow will feel more normal, since I'll be able to fall back on my regular routine. E is a bit demanding when her father is around.

Potty training was a vast improvement today but it is nowhere near done yet. I was really not planning on doing this this week but I'm kinda committed now. Rats! Dreading tomorrow a little on that front, since M will not be home with me to help.

Let's see, what else? M and I are sort of trying to embark upon a healthier living program. It is designed to be less of a diet and more of a better food choices plus activity sort of thing. We snack too much, we don't exercise enough and I have some bad habits left over from nursing. Basically, it's the cheese-reduction plan. We're trying new recipes that are not cheese-based. I do love cheese. And bacon. Naturally, all we are thinking about right now is what we are going to eat next. :) I hate this part. What is fun, though, is that I have made two tasty dinners this weekend from one of my Weight Watchers cookbooks. It's fun to try new recipes but I have been doing less of it lately. Tonight was a garlic pork with rice dish.. pretty good, actually. Last night was a cabbage potato kielbasa soup. No clue about tomorrow.. any healthy ideas for things that actually taste great?

Oh noze! Not teh dreaded cheese reduction diet plan! LOL.... If you gave up eggs, diary and bacon you probably wouldn't even need to exercise. ;^) Of course your tongue might die of boredom but hey a small price to pay, right?

Actually I'm with you on the whole, eat better get in shape thing. Gawd, I've let myself go. Bleh. Keep strong sista!

Everyday Food Magazine has some really great recipes in it that are pretty low fat and are tasty... though I usually spice em up a bit. Plus they're easy and quick to make, perfect mid week meals. You can try some of her recipes here: http://www.marthastewart.com/everyday

Lo-cal chili! Tons of recipes online. I'd send you one but they're all so subjective. Just give chili a try. :)
