I'm supposed to be studying/writing email but somehow I'm not. ;) I've tried to go back over the last couple of days and add comments that I didn't have time for, but now everyone has said it all already! I'll do better today, since as far as I know, I'm not supposed to be working or anything. I'm going to try to get the house cleaned up a little bit. I should go grocery shopping if we expect to have anything for dinner. It's been such a long time now, though, that it's become a real challenge to pull a meal together without buying anything! We have a boxed pizza mix, perhaps I should fix that. Doesn't sound half bad, actually, and I can even use the veggies I have in the crisper. ;)

Anyway, I wanted to mention Bjorn again. We haven't forgotten about it. I'm giving it a little bit of time to get caught by Google and such, and trying to add a few thread ideas. I've also sent mail to a certain person asking if it would be alright to mention it on a certain site.. polite, you know, to ask. This person apparently doesn't answer email, so I guess I might as well post it anyway in a day or two. I'm not complaining, just stating. ;) I've just been a little busy, which coincides with waiting for the search engines. ;)

Hehe. The chicks on The View are having this long conversation about the statue that came down yesterday, and one of them mentioned that the statue pointed toward Israel, and they're trying to figure out the symbolism of what that means, etc. I mean, it was pretty cool that the statue came down, and maybe SH had incredible plans in mind for Israel that the statue was there to represent, I don't know.. but come on! Sometimes it's just a statue! Calm DOWN, people! Even bad guys sometimes just erect statues without alerting the world to their future goals! ;)

Okay, I'm done now. This post is getting less and less interesting, so I should go write [livejournal.com profile] paradisecowgirl back now. Or have lunch, then write back. ;) We've been conversing in Swedish lately, and I think that we're both getting good practice from it. I assume she's doing the same thing I am, and going over the mails with our Swedes. That way, instead of learning each other's mistakes, we learn FROM each other's mistakes. ;)

Oh, yes, I think this is working out very well! I'm having quite a bit of fun though it's still taking me forever just to write an email! LOL :)

I usually have Peter go over my email sent to you (after I send it!) but having us go over yours sent to me sounds like a good idea too, though I cringe at the idea of Magnus seeing just how bad my grammar is! LOL :)

I'm having fun, too, though it's more fun to receive mail and have it sent and await a response. It takes so long to write these things when you have to look up stuff. :) I kinda feel the same way about Peter, but I figure that if you like him, he can't be too mean, right? :) And I think that we should get as much good as possible out of this, so we might as well put our embarrassment aside. *grin* I always think that since it's for his benefit that I'm learning Swedish, he can darned well work for it, too!

Mmm.. all those things sound good! Especially the steak. If you wanna stop at Slone's and pick up some nummy steak, we can have that for dinner. We should use up the potatoes anyway. :)

They always say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. I guess they're right. Whoever they are. :)
