Today has been exceedingly long and active. We went to a lot of different places and got a bit of stuff done, considering that it's a Sunday. We're rarely productive on Sundays. Most of what we did wasn't so much productive as just busy, though. We were at the store for an hour working so my parents could go to lunch, and we did go to my grandfather's house. There was some excitement.. my uncle was cutting a tree down and it hit him in the nose.

This evening we went to fix Brad's computer and ended up breaking it horribly. He wanted us to upgrade Windows. It did this really weird thing that neither M nor I have ever seen before, so we ended up bringing it home. The big problem is hopefully fixed now, so I'll have that to work on tomorrow. He's had bad luck with his computer lately.. the power supply got zapped during the ice storm and the person who was fixing it took forever to get it done. This is not in the least bit interesting, so I'm going to stop writing about it now.

I'm still liking my hair. Possibly more than yesterday, although it looks somewhat different today. I bought new shampoo and conditioner yesterday and realized this morning that I had a $1 coupon I forgot to use, and then realized that I probably don't even need the conditioner at all now, since I only used it on the ends anyway. I'm wondering how dumb I would feel to return a bottle of conditioner to WalMart and if it would be worth it to get my $3 back.

I'm very excited about my silverware situation, though. I've never been excited about eating utensils before. We have these two forks that we fight over. They're the perfect weight and thickness, and the edges are rounded so nicely. They came with the hubby, and we've been looking on and off for more in a similar style. Our everyday forks were not the very cheapest stuff or anything, but they're not greatly nice, either, so we were considering replacing them. We had to buy some stuff like that that Magnus already had because his things didn't arrive until well after the wedding, and you can't really live without silverware or plates. Anyway, not the point. I realized while drying dishes tonight that I could check what brand the two forks were. Then Magnus pointed out that we could also look behind the silverware-sorting-thingie for more like it. So when the dishes were done, I checked, and there were indeed four more forks just like the two we love. I open that drawer countless times a day, I saw the extra silverware laying in piles, but I had completely forgot about the existence of the extra silverware. This sparked a completely silverware reorganization, so all of our crappy stuff is put away, the good stuff is out, and there are no more reject silverware piles. Yay!

I can't believe you're still reading this. This is the most boring thing I've written in ages, and I really did have a very active day! Enough is enough. G'night!

*bites tongue off to stop self from saying first thing that came to mind*

They did come with the hubby! But kinda as a bonus, not the main thing. I like the hubby part best, still. :)

But did the inclusion of the silverware make it a better deal? Just remembering THIS POST *smile*

What shampoo did you get? Ya know, normally if I was still home, I'd be bumming that bottle of conditioner off you if it was a brand I liked, but somehow suggesting that you ship it to me kinda defeats the purpose with the high cost of postage these days, ROFL! Not sure they'd let you take it back since it would be easy for someone to take it home, put something icky in it, and return it for some poor unsuspecting person to use. Ack! Just the thought of someone being twisted enough to try that *shudder*

Dove. I haven't tried it yet.. still using the last of my Thermasilk. The commercials make it look good, though, but then again, commercials always do that.

I can't decide if I should try to return it. It's kinda embarrassing to return such small stuff. *grin* Magnus broke his Dremmel recently and took it out there. They gave him an entirely new set. His Dremmel was like two years old.. he was feeling a little bad about it. ;)
