I have news of great excitement and importance. After four long years, Morehead finally has a good Italian restaraunt. It's in the same building Trevino's was in, but definitely not the same place. These people actually seem to be somewhat Italian, for one thing. (The previous Greek/Italian restaraunt, Trevino's, was owned by Mexicans. Let's not question this too deeply, merely mourn its passing.) It's called.. argh, can't remember what it's called. Anyway. It's excellent. It opened last weekend, and we went there tonight. Really really good. Really. Morehead has a lot of restaraunts, being a college town, but most of them are fast food or just generally boring. It's everything I was afraid to wish for, though. It looks rather nice on the inside, the food was delicious, and the prices were.. well, not so great but not completely out of line. I suspect we'll be very happy about this place for quite some time... although it won't help our attempts to eat out less, I suspect.

As for the rest of the day.. I went to work and was extremely tired. That's basically what happened to my sickness. It never really developed into anything but extreme tiredness. It was as if I had a low-grade fever for the last few days, but I didn't. I'm so achey-feeling tonight that I suppose I'm going to have to go to bed soon. Can't sit still.

Banana-man came in today. Turns out that he doesn't even really like bananas. I hate people.

Awesome! I'm glad they finally got a decent Italian place. How come, if Italian is such a large part of a lot of people's food consumption, there aren't more Italian restaurants? Even here, where there are tons of good places to eat, there is only one Italian place (haven't tried it yet, but Bellacino's in Wilmington is wonderful).

I used to do that feeling feverish without the fever and tired thing. There was no real reason for it that I ever discovered. But I did find that it comes more frequently and severely when I'm worn down or depressed. Maybe the whole going to work thing got to you.

I think the reason that there aren't more Italian restaraunts is that people think Fazoli's and similar counts as Italian and that the market is overestablished. Or maybe it's just that authentic Italian doesn't go over as well as fake Italian. I don't know. We've been to the place twice now, and it's soo good. *bounce* Maybe even (dare I say it?) better than Trevino's. Certainly looks nicer on the inside.
