La la la la la.
Apr. 16th, 2004 12:30 amI've noticed this week that all great conversations start with something like the following:
"So if Britney Spears is Elvis.. and Darth Vader, then..."
Funny how that actually made sense at the time.
Anyway, today was quite active but nice--we went to Natural Bridge and walked up to the top of the bridge and back.. yes, somehow they managed to get me to go hill climbing again. This time, there was an actual trail, though, and steps and such, so it was a little better, at least, than the day they decided to climb the hill behind the house. They've been pretty busy with the Extreme Elimination show all evening--there has been a marathon, which as excited them greatly. I've drifted from one room to another, for the most part, and haven't really done a whole lot of anything. That's actually been quite nice in itself.
I'm generally thinking that reading in bed sounds divine, so I guess that's all she writes for tonight. I bought a sack full of books at the flea market last week but I haven't even had time to look through them yet and pick the first one to read. Always feels like such a luxury.. anytime there are at least ten brand new (to me) books to choose from, I'm happy. I guess I'm generally pretty happy when there are books in my immediate vicinity, actually.
